Care Philosophy: With each client, I personally take care in developing a comprehensive plan for treatment based on their priorities and goals. I believe each client is an expert on one's self and brings a unique dynamic to the counseling relationship. By considering the person's beliefs about one's self and the world, as well as what one hopes to achieve, we work collaboratively to develop goals that are solution-focused, while also giving the person an outlet towards healing. I have specific training in the LGBTQIA population and welcome individuals from all backgrounds.

Biography: I am a licensed mental health counselor in Indiana and Florida with more than 2 decades of experience treating and supporting youth, adults and families. In my work I have helped individuals and families identify and address the issues that are causing them distress. These range from depression and anxiety to physical and sexual abuse. I have worked with those struggling with addiction and have provided support for those who love individuals with addictions. It is my belief is that it is within a warm, trusting relationship that individuals are most likely to be able to understand and develop a plan for changing their lives. I believe it takes courage to reach out for support and that my role is to partner with you to achieve your goals. To that end my approach pulls from person-centered and cognitive behavioral practices to support your progress.
