Biography: I am licensed in South Carolina as both a professional counselor (LPC) and as an addiction counselor (LAC). Since earning an advanced graduate degree in Marriage, Couples and Family Counseling from the University of South Carolina in 2013, I have worked with adults of all ages, college students through senior adults. My clinical experience includes assessing and treating anxiety, addiction, anger management, relationship issues and various other mental health needs. I have counseled clients individually, in groups and as couples and families. My goal is to help clients navigate life in a more positive and fulfilling manner. Biography: I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor with Masters degrees in Professional Counseling and Addiction Counseling. I specialize in adults and children with emotional, behavioral and cognitive difficulties. I have extensive experience with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, situational stress, relationships, conflict resolution, coaching, addiction and trauma. I have worked in a short-term and long-term capacity for both individual and groups across inpatient, outpatient, residential and in-home settings. My approach is authentic with the goal to have a happier and healthier version of my clients. I view all my therapy as short-term with the goal of the client becoming independent. Of course, this is done on an individualized basis. I believe therapy is a team approach and I work with my clients to accomplish their goals using guidance, support and processing to enable long-term change. At the heart of all my work you will find a strength-based and solution focused approach with the client at the core.

Biography: I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker with over 25 years of helping clients heal and overcome personal challenges . I am experienced in working with individuals, families and groups in a variety of settings including community mental health, private practice, trauma intervention and counseling, family preservation/parenting skills training, family law/mediation/divorce, and addiction treatment and coaching. I am available to work with you around issues of grief, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, women's issues, relationship conflict, LGBT issues, family conflict/domestic violence, trauma/post-traumatic stress disorder, and substance abuse. My experience includes working with parents in navigating challenges of setting boundaries and developing positive discipline methods with children and teenagers, with a primary focus on healthy family systems. My treatment modalities include: Cognitive Behavioral, Client-Centered Therapy, Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Gottman-Relationship Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, 12-Step Recovery and Somatic Therapies to incorporate mind, body, and spirit into therapeutic healing.
