Biography: I am licensed in Oklahoma and Wyoming with 19 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with trauma, emotion management, stress, addictions and relationship issues. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward a change. I am here to support and empower you in that journey. Please note that I use messaging for short conversations and scheduling, but don't use it for therapy. I look forward to seeing you via video!

Biography: I offer a non-judgemental and strengths-based approach to problem-solving with a compassionate, grounded, and direct approach. I am devoted to helping educate and liberate people from repeating the same painful patterns. Using the latest brain research, I describe the neurochemical processes that drive our feelings, impulses, and behaviors. We tend to make the worst decisions when we're under the most stress. This cycle can repeat itself over the course of a lifetime. We don't have to cling to a mistake just because we spent a lot of time making it. You can lead a life worth living when given the right support at the right time. You're worth it!

Biography: For over 20 years I have been providing counseling services to the residents of Oklahoma. I received my bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Tulsa, went on to receive my Masters degree from Northeastern State University and then received my license as a Licensed Professional Counselor. My practice consists of counseling clients, supervising new counselors for their licensure and consulting with other counselors about their practice. Over the years I have employed a variety of therapeutic interventions for my clients ranging from Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Solution Focused Therapy. We all experience times in our life when we are unable to do those things that we want to, and our lives may become unmanageable and unfulfilling. These times may provoke feelings of anxiety and depression and may lead to substance use or other maladaptive and self-destructive behaviors and relationships. These emotions, behaviors and relationships can often overwhelm us and we experience a feeling of being stuck in our current situation with no way out. These difficult emotions may have been a part of us for so long that we do not realize there is a different way of living. If you are struggling with emotions, relationships, substance use or you find yourself repeating the same patterns, I would like the opportunity to work with you. After hearing from you about what you would like to change in your life, what you value and the strengths you will bring to therapy, I will work with you to determine the most effective plan to help you realize the life you desire.
