Biography: Welcome I am a mental health counselor with more than 7 years experience working with individuals of diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. My focus is to help you develop skills and strategies to address marriage and relationship issues, lifestyle challenges, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, addiction and addictive tendencies. My counseling style is integrative and geared towards empowering each individual with self-discovery and self-correction skills. Integrative therapists don't subscribe to any one therapeutic approach. Instead, they treat each client as an individual and pull from a variety of therapeutic approaches based on what the client seems to need in the therapy session. We will look at different approaches to help you develop routines and useful strategies to strengthen your ability to implement and practice change in daily living. As in all counseling relationships a solid foundation is essential and at times necessary to explore, review and process underlying issues in order to learn how to rid oneself of emotional and psychological baggage, improve thinking and behavior patterns and become the expert in your life. I am looking forward to our first session where we can collaborate on developing the skills to address areas of concerns and provide you with the support in achieving your goals. Things to expect during the initial visit are as follows; to work collaboratively towards development of a treatment plan, not necessarily during the first session but soon after. The treatment plan is a road map used as a guide and consists of goals, objectives and intervention. The length of the session is 45 minutes long, the goal of the session is to help you learn how to implement and practice coping and stress management skills in daily living via education, role-play, problem solving, communication and self-assessment strategies and homework.

Biography: My name is Dr. Joseph Bullock and I have over 30 years of experience as a professional counselor. I highly prioritize creating a safe place for my clients to experience their vulnerabilities while sharing their stories. I have focused my counseling experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Psychoeducation interventions in my practice. I have found when using any of these interventions, individuals can better understand and overcome their problems while also developing healthier thought and wellness processes. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, alcohol and drug misuse, career challenges, work challenges, relationship challenges and mid-life challenges. I also individuals with lived recovery experience and need preventative maintenance support to continuing growing physically, mentally, emotionally and professionally. I will will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
