Dr. Zivago Bunting I, DNP

Spent more time talking about himself rather than listening to my concerns and struggles. Billed my insurance incorrectly. When I tried to explain my situation he cut me off and told me that his staff is extremely capable and know what they are doing but if they can’t bill my insurance that I ask them to bill then we have a bit of a problem. In addition he struggled with filling my medications at the pharmacy and I have run out of meds more than once on his watch. Follow the reviews with this one. We are all saying the same thing for a reason.

Extremely difficult to work with. He was frequently rude in sessions. He didn’t listen well or get to know me, but he loved talking about himself. It seemed like he was in this more for his own ego rather than to actually help people. My therapist also let me know that he was requesting an alarming amount of health records, way more than normal. He once missed an appointment, and then tried to charge me a no-show fee (which was several times higher than my copay).When he found out my decision to move on to another provider, he called me to berate me about how 'immature' and 'irresponsible' I was, and how he has a degree so I needed to respect him. He said “You're always gonna have these problems in your life” but hadn't learned enough about me to even know what my “problems” were. Either way, it seemed shockingly unprofessional to speak about a patient's mental health that way.So to any potential patients reading this: please take care of yourself, and please avoid this guy!

My experience with Dr. Bunting was not as bad as others have explained here but I will say I felt very uncomfortable with his arrogance. As a psychiatrist he is not as much a people person as you’d expect. Rather he is on a high horse.

Dr Z was able to quickly diagnose my child's issue and provide candid feedback and strategies which helped improve his behaviors. I value his straightforward way of communicating.

The NP is so caught up trying to prove they are better than an MD or DO.

I’ve been so upset by interactions with this provider. Lesson learned by me to not ignore red flags and to research providers more thoroughly.

No bedside manner. Spends most time inflating his ego by repeating his credentials and what he "knows" is best. Does not listens, only judges. Would have loved to receive support from a fellow African American, but passed on this one.
