Unprofessional
In rushed sessions, she is superficialand likes to play savior without trulymaking an effort to understand herpatient. Awful communication, flakyand ghosting, cancels appointmentslast minute and charges forappointments she canceled.Completely unprofessional andinvasive. Dismissive of patient'sconcerns, forcing patient to repeatedlyrequest and remind her of things.Forgetful and disorganized. Does nottake notes. Talks about herself somuch, there's little room for patient tospeak.Overall, I would never recommendYesenia to anyone looking for real help. She is comparable to a friend who tookone psych class in college and thinksshe's a therapist.

The experience was great. Yesenia was very understanding and patient. She understood my needs and was able to help me work through my issues. She is also certified in EMDR and Brainspotting, which is rare in the mental health space. I would definitely recommend Yesenia.

Honestly, I would avoid her as a therapist. Her communication is horrific. For someone that is supposed to be trained and educated to assist her clients with trauma and mental health issues, she seemingly doesn't run her practice very ethically. I would have to actively be my own patient advocate - asking for paperwork to be sent, asking for her availability and confirmation for appointments she would make with me, and also giving many second chances when she would "ghost" our appointments. Going to therapy involves being opening up your vulnerabilities to a stranger that you hope to trust, and specifically, that you pay to help you, and she will just miss appointments and then tell you "sorry for the inconvenience to you" without ever apologizing for it. If your therapist can not apologize for her own mistakes and shortcomings, how can she be expected to help anyone else? I would avoid her especially if you are already prone to abandonment trauma issues.
