Dr. Cruz has been instrumental in changing the way I eat and shedding pounds. I started out at 300 lbs and on 7 medications for diabetes and other ailments. In 2 months I have dropped 25 pounds and I am off one of my medications. I am hoping to drop 50 more pounds and be off more of my medications. The suggestion was already made to cut my metformin in half in the evenings, so I am well on my way. Without the guidance of Dr. Cruz I would not be where I am today, which is a very happy place.

Dr. Cruz is polite and professional. She diligently paid attention to every detail of my appointments. If I didn't get to her appointment on time she personally would call me to make sure I was ok. When I started with her, I had the motivation and energy of a slug and now I am like a spring bunny running around everywhere. I am extremely grateful for Dr. Cruz and her dedication.

Dr. Cruz has helped me to get my health back. I am so happier with the weight loss and getting off the medications that really weren't helping. She listens to my every concern and helps to with the answers. The support group she has started is wonderful. Getting to meet others going through the program and sharing information.

My experience has been excellent. She is a true professional concerned about patient care. Her ability to review patients medical condition (lab results) to identify and determine appropriate actions/care is one of her unique traits. When I started the program, I was taking metformin (1000mg) twice daily and simvastatin (40mg) daily. My A1C was 8.4. I stopped taking both medications after 2 months and used only the supplements provided. Six months later, my current A1C is 5.9. Excellent.

Dr. Cruz is very informed on reversing Type 2 DM. I started in July 2015 and I have lost 32 lbs in 5 months. 6 weeks into the program and I was off all my DM and pain medications. 2 months on the program my A1C dropped from 9.2 to 7.1. Dr. Cruz takes the time to listen to any problems and gives great suggestions for over coming them. She is very supportive and provide great motivation. This program has worked for me and I would highly recommend the program to anyone with Type 2 DM.
