This is absolutely weird, is it not? (Somatic Experiencing Trauma Specialist) My therapist asked me what I needed once. I said encouragement. She said she'd send me some encouraging emails while she was out of state for a couple weeks. I felt awkward accepting this, but I did. A couple weeks later, I noticed she would miss days and then apologize for it. This made me feel really guilty. I felt just strange and guilty from the beginning, even if I wasn't fully aware of that uncomfortable
