I have been a patient of Bill for nearly 12 years now and while he does stress that he's not there to be my 'friend', I understand that this is to maintain objectivity in his duty to help me improve. Over the years, I have learned that having an objective listener is more important to my healing than trying to make a friend of someone that is here to treat my condition(s)

I've been seeing Bill for several years now and from day one he was very insightful. He has helped me discover the various aspects of my personality and conditions and my quality of life and mental wellbeing has vastly improved ever since. The visits are all about 'him,' not you. Mention one little thing that he doesn't like or agree with and he becomes upset like a little brat. Becomes upset over the smallest things. Made it clear he's not my friend. This maybe true, but, that's never an appropriate thing to say to any patient or client. Below, I gave "Ease of scheduling urgent appointments" and "Spends appropriate amount of time with patients" 5 Stars only because some things, although easily acquired, aren't always good.
