William Kvasnicka, PA-C

William Kvasnicka is a medical provider that is not very personable. He does not listen to the wishes of his patients and only wants to direct patient referrals to UIC HOSPITAL and not the patient’s hospital of choice (It is his way, or NO WAY). He likes to prescribe a lot of medicine; even medicines for conditions you MAY HAVE IN THE FUTURE. My bad cholesterol has been way under 200 for decades and was under 100 when I first went to William. He wanted to put me on a cholesterol medicine because he felt that all diabetics who have high blood pressure will all have cholesterol issues in the future. He had no faith in me losing my excess weight and told me that I “would NEVER lose weight!” The next visit to his office I had lost 30 lbs. He did not acknowledge the weight loss as if he was angry that he was wrong. If you are not into the “tough love/I am always right” approach in your medical provider selection then William is not for you.
