I saw William for about a year. At first all went well. Until I hit a wall with my meds and needed help. He was no where to be found. Canceled our appts and caused me to have almost 3 weeks of crisis. I feel I was treating myself basically...I suggested med changes...I kept myself on track. After that was settled...He next denied my meds....saying I needed an appt, never requested I make an appt...and disappeared again for a week knowing I would be completely out of my new dosage....I went 3 days unmedicated and did not even get a sorry or explanation. William is a nice guy...just not a good provider...And when you tell him the truth he doesn't try to fix it...he just discharges you and acts like he is the one that was wronged! Avoid!

Listens carefully and thoughtfully, accepts input, and open to prescribing appropriate meds (I know because I check his prescriptions). Nothing bad to say about him. He’s a good clinician and communicator.

Choose someone that's competent. He clearly has no experience and not good at his job, to the patients detriment. Not professional.

After an initial phone consultation he diagnosed me with a condition that no other medically trained person ever diagnosed me with in my 32 years with my condition. My prescriber before him at Mohave Mental Health, had me stabilized with meds we agreed on. This guy has decided to change all my meds and completely discontinuing one without my consent. I found out when I picked up my refills. I asked for a new prescriber and was refused. This is the worst thing you can do to a mental health sufferer. I would rather work 2 jobs and pay for a real Psychiatrist since the more qualified ones do not accept AZ Medicaid.
