She is attentive, thorough and has an excellent grasp of medical knowledge. Additionally, she actively encourages patient involvement in the health care process. That is, one gains a sense of partnership in one’s health care. I find this distinctly different from other practitioners who take a more dictatorial approach; leaving you feeling like a passive recipient of care.

Highly disappointed about this lack of care. Recuperating from major surgery at Orthopedic Hospital... and had established primary care at Med First. Had all blood work done, physical examine, had all other records transferred twice. Been asking for prescription refill for thyroid med. and now told Ii am not a patient there just walk-in. I am an RN, BSN and in a full cast unable to est.new dr. Here. There is much lack of communication here or this P.A. has no care or concern.

After spending a year seeing various specialists and undergoing uncomfortable and invasive procedures to try to find the cause of acute gastro-attacks, it took a PA (Whitney Crain) at MedFirst to suggest an ultrasound, which showed severe gallbladder issues. I had my gallbladder removed the next day. Apparently my symptoms were atypical; even the doctor who read the results of the ultrasound said he wouldn't have caught the problem had he not seen the ultrasound. So thank you Whitney!

This is my own opinion. You must decide for yourself if a provider and the company that he/she will meet your needs. I choose not to use this company for my medical needs.
