OB first visit

Completely rushed, i didn't get to ask any of my questions. She argued with me about my gestational age because of a paperwork typo and wouldn't listen to me that it was a typo. Completely wrote off my concerns and rolled her eyes when i mentioned avoiding having any males present at my birth… as a first time mom this just made me so worried and confused. I had some really important questions that will now have to wait a month until my next visit…

Postpartum Check

She is such a kind and wonderful provider at Oakdale OBGYN. I have been coming here for YEARS and out of all of the providers, she is my top midwife to see. I love her demeanor and the way she makes me feel well-heard and accepted as I am. I walked in knowing what was expected as far as a postpartum visit (this is my 4th baby) as well as knowing I wanted to leave with birth control. One of the things I love about her over the other OBGYNs is that I was not bullied or pressured into any form of birth control. Anyways I asked for Nexplanon before I left she asked me if I wanted a certain length of time (i.e 1,2,3 year) I told her I preferred the longest-lasting one possible she said the 3-year was the longest she gave me time to redress and I left the office with Nexplanon and 0 issues whatsoever. 10 out of 10 recommend for all of your gyno needs and obstetric necessities.
