Old But Good
I had my 15 year old daughter's eye exam. She always nervous, but I told her don't be scared, He's a very kind man. Being an eye doctor in Gallup, there are many challenges, but I'm glad he has been able to serve his customers as long as he has. I have been seeing him since I was in high school. Though I keep leaving in my lifetime, I always go back to him. Thank you!

I been calling to see if my glasses were ready. Again I called and I was told “ if your not going to talk don’t call geez” , with a no “hello , good morning” so awful! They need to be replaced.. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!

Dr Balfour is really nice. One of his staff is very rude. I feel she was in a hurry and when I asked a question she answered me rudely with a "geez" at the end. I was supposed to order extra eyeglasses but never mind. I will just get it at some other place.

This place gets one star that is because dr was there todo eye exam. However he will not give you your prescription. I ordered glasses and contacts there but none have come in. I paid for them. It's been over a month and all the rude rude ladies say when I call their not in. Try tomorrow. I asked for my money back and all they told me was they cant because their on order. I am never ever going back to thos place. Easy first and last that's for sure.

This place deserves no stars. Dr balfore is rude and his front desk staff are a nightmare. They don’t answer their phones, talk very unprofessional. Unfortunately hes the only doctor available to the Navajo people so we have no choice to see him and tolerate them. They are an inconvenience. If you have the money to afford a doctor please do not see dr balfore.

This place is Fake... needs to be updated to the year 2000 not the 70’s. Very old, unclean office. Staff are very unprofessional, rude as hell. Poor Dr. Balfour is getting taken advantage from the front desk clearks...

Dr. Balfour does not provide a comprehensive eye exam that one would expect especially if you are a diabetic and/or have had some eye problems in the past. It is a quick simple eye exam using outdated equipment from the late 80s. Contact lens prescription was wrong, had trouble adjusting to the contacts. No refund given. Wasted my eye insurance at this place. Small clattered eye exam room about the size of a pantry/utility closet. The office staff are so unfriendly and unprofessional

I went to his office for an eye exam I informed him that I had diabetes but he never wants even dilated my eyes, seems like we just hurried through the eye exam just to get me out of there my prescriptions in , I could not get used to the new prescriptions the ladies at the front never even examined my eyes with my new prescriptions on they just handed me my glasses I had to have my eyes reexamined and they told me that the prescription that I was given was way off
