Dr. Vernon Tompkins, OD

I have had eye exams for 30+ years by doctor Tompkins. I know for a fact he is a great optometrist as I had many military doctors exams including eye exams by advanced computer diagnostic laser measurement, independently and concurrently. Dr. Thompkins exams were straight up on the money. At one point I was looking into laser treatments and he answered all my questions even explaining the latest medical procedures pros and cons so that I could choose my best course of action. He carries a wide variety of Quality frames and current styles. In my experience I have found Turnaround time is usually about a two week or less. His staff is also very courteous, friendly and helpful. My vision and health is always his first concern. Don’t let the easy atmosphere fool you, doctor Tompkins is a heavyweight weight on the A-Team and has the credentials and experience to back it up.

Dr. Tompkins is the most caring and gentle optometrist I've ever met in my life he is clearly not in the field for the money he is in the field to help people and his gratification is in helping people he also does not make people pay all this money up front he accepts billing and small payments if needed his office is like a LensCrafters there are hundreds and hundreds of frames to choose from and you can get everything right through him and ordering contacts through him are cheaper than online
