Vera Holloway, LPC

My review for Dr. Vera Holloway Phenomenal counselor. She has helped my family in countless ways and has helped us to transform my marriage completely. She's caring and empathetic, but does not just tell you what you want to hear. I have always found her to be compassionately honest with me, even when it was tough to hear. She is highly respected in the community and the more we have gotten to know her, the more we are impressed with how she uses her time, gifts and talents to give back to those in need and in vulnerable situations. I have also referred clients to her with no hesitation. Beware of the bad reviews. Counseling is tough, and not everyone's experiences will be the same. In my own experience, having seen many different counselors over the years, Dr. Holloway is by far the best I have seen, and although we don't need to see her nearly as frequently as before, we continue to visit her occasionally for continued growth and improvement. She has my highest recommendation.

I have no idea how she got her license. She has a doctorate, and i have no idea how. Bad practices. Lengthy response times in very timely matters. Will destroy relationships her clients have with their family.

Best psychologist around. The negative response are people who don’t like to hear the truth. Vera is extremely compassionate and caring - especially for children. 100% recommend.

She doesn’t know her place at all. She makes awful conclusions based on very little info and without all parties involved. She has no qualms about ruining a parent/child relationship with only input from the child so that she can appease the other parent paying for her services on behalf of the child. Sick lady, and she pretends she is so wonderful. She needs to have her license yanked.

Very professional, very empathic. She is truly passionate about what she does. She is genuine in her efforts and truly cares about the people she sees.

Extemely fake and put on. I had my therapy session this year, and I didn’t really like her approach with me. She didn’t seem genuine, and was more concerned with appearances and came off as really superficial. Very naive and inexperienced. Very child like. Waste of time and money.

Vera is therapist who was court ordered to supervise visitation with my son who is currently her client. She was extremely difficult to get in touch with. She deviated from the order in wanting to choose location even though they were unsupervised visits despite the order not giving her power to choose location. As of today over 30 days have passed since seeing my son because she took it upon herself to remove herself from the order and not issue any more outlines. STAY AWAY!
