Vannary Khim, RN

I came in having scheduled an appointment for an MRI. The nurse who took my blood pressure and weight prior to being seen asked why I was in. I explained, I fell and heard pops in my knees I’m pretty sure I have a soft tissue injury and that nurse completely agreed with me. She assured me Khim would order a same day MRI for me. However, Khim refused saying she would only order an X-ray. I explained I’d be ok with an X-ray but could we please also do an MRI? She not only refused but also made me crutch to a separate department to schedule the X-ray follow up appointment only to have that department tell me to crutch back to her department to maybe get a brace for my knee while I was waiting, only to discover the department was now closed and they could not provide me with a knee brace or any pain meds. I had no wrapping or anything on a leg I couldn’t walk on. Just the crutches the ski patrol people had given me at the mountain. She was condescending, rude, and didn’t care.

I was seen for an urgent care appointment.Ms Khim was very thorough,personable, knowledgeable and helpful with her Diagnosis and treatment Prescriptions.She went above and beyond to address overall health.Its without reservation I recommend Vannary as a practitioner.

I saw Van twice. she was full of herself and sure that she diagnosed my very rare adult onset egg allergy. she was very dismissive. Guess what - i'm not allergic to eggs. paid $110 out of pocket for an epi pen that i had to ask her for ("oh, that's a good idea"). didn't refer me to an allergist OR a nutritionist. not being able to eat eggs is a life changing diagnosis, and not only was she wrong, but she didn't give me any support at all around it. i've been on unneeded doxy for 8 days because she didn't know the difference between a WBC count that was raised due to steroids and not an infection. stay very far away from this person. this is just the tip of the iceberg with her incompetence.

I was disappointed that I couldn't see my PCP, but I was so impressed with Vannary Khim that I ended up more than satisfied with my exam. I had several issues I needed to talk about. She was patient and helpful with all of these issues. She also had answers on how to deal with the issues. I'm very surprised at the negative reviews. It seems like I'm reading about a different person. I'd happily go back to her and I'd recommend her to others.

Vannary was very helpful. I have begun to trust her more than my PCP. She has excellent bed side manner and made me feel comfortable talking about my ongoing problems. She went above and beyond for me and i appreciate all she does.

I have found Vannary to be exceedingly competent, thorough and professional in my visits with her. Not only did she address the health issue for which I was seeing her that day, she also inquired about on-going health issues I had and made additional recommendations on those issues. I found her manner to be one of genuine interest/concern for me and my health.

She was friendly but did not listen to my needs. I came in with a recurring issue that has always been handled a certain way and she refused to do the same. Very unhelpful and did not address my needs. This was a last minute appt and she was the only provider available. I can see why she was the only one with an open spot.

Wow! I have never been treated with such disrespect in ANY professional setting... Her comments during the exam were belittling and downright rude. I find it pathetic that I have to come and write a review about someone like this. She has a lot of work to do on her interpersonal communication skills and in general making a patient feel comfortable in a difficult time! If that was not enough she requested I get an XRAY instead of MRI for my soft tissue injury.. waste of my TIME and MONEY!

I had a very poor experience with Vannary Khim. She was very rude and inappropriate.
