Dr. Valerie Silverberg, PHD

I’ve tried a couple psychologists in the past and Dr. Silverberg is certainly the best. She was very helpful, attentive, and taught me the skills I needed to make positive changes in my life.

I would not recommend Dr Valerie Silverberg. She was not much help to me in the months I saw her for therapy. She is friendly and nice so I stayed, but It seemed she lacked the skills needed to be an effective therapist. There are much better therapists out there. I am seeing a new therapist and my new therapist has helped me so much more & in a much shorter time .

Saw Dr. Silverberg 3 or 4 times. Quit going to her because she exercises poor judgement. She saw no issue with interrupting therapy to answer her older children's non-emergency phone calls. This happened during most, if not all of our appointments. These phone calls negated any therapeutic effects and left me feeling disregarded. As a medical professional myself, I would be 'called on the carpet' if not fired for accepting personal phone calls while treating a patient. Utterly unprofessional.
