When we talk her style is comforting and non judgemental. She suggested taking a daily anti anxiety medicine and I dragged my heels for months. I would like to make some comments about Tricia Shelden from the perspective of professional colleague and friend. I’m a psychologist practicing in Pinellas County for over 20 years and have had the privilege of knowing many many clinicians in the area. I’ve known Tricia for several years and can say without reservation that she is a fantastic clinician and human being. She brings a lifetime of wisdom, personal experience and clinical acumen to the therapy relationship and as a result achieves excellent outcomes in her work. With great confidence, I have referred countless clients to her and have always gotten great feedback on her skill set as well as qualities of character and personhood. I never imagined that I would find myself in need of therapy but as a man in my late 40's some stuff began to back up on me. Tricia has been immensely helpful in getting me back to who I used to be. For men especially, therapy can be a daunting effort. Tricia makes it easy and is very easy to talk to.

I have been seeing Tricia Sheldon for 2 and 1/2 years. I was really struggling before seeing her and did not have any good coping mechanisms for my anxiety and stress. Tricia has taught me SO many skills to help improve myself and my relationships with all of my family members. Tricia listens so well and is so comforting. She always makes you feel better about yourself and just knowing that I have her support has been so very comforting. She has so many resources to help you in between sessions. I am not sure how I would have gotten through the last 2 years without her. I am eternally grateful.
