Tracie Dannheim, LPC

Ms. Dannheim is a kind and empathic listener. She brings practical solutions to complex issues. Tracie’s calm and accepting demeanor helps me talk about uncomfortable subjects/ memories. Her emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps me sort out and organize my thoughts and gives me greater power to own the solutions. (I really wrote that, I had to look it up. This is not a fake review!) My greatest issues are how I react to stress. I’m already a very positive minded person, but Tracie’s non-judgmental and supportive nature helps me sort through the more difficult thoughts in a way that doesn’t oppress my emotions. In fact, her gentle guidance helps my opposing emotions co-exist peacefully in my psyche. I was a wholly reluctant anti-therapy kind of guy, so the fact that I even made it past the first session is a testament to Tracie’s ability to make me feel comfortable discussing the uncomfortable. I sincerely appreciate Tracie’s expertise, professionalism and kindness.
