He is very knowledgeable and has some valuable things to say. However, he comes off as a jerk a lot of the time and I don’t think he realizes it. He says it is a space free of judgement, but he is constantly judging and laughing at other people’s neurosis. He thinks he has it all figured out because of his degrees and intellectual capacity. He doesn’t. Learn to be more compassionate. Everyone’s trauma is significant, so treat it that way.

We had marriage counseling sessions with Tim. He did well listening to our concerns and providing neutral guidance. Although I believe he cares about saving marriages, it felt like he worried more about making money. If you don't give more than a week notice to change a session, you pay the premium rate of $135. He advocated taking a test for another premium charge, but discouraged us from taking it online for cheaper. He also refused to answer any questions sent by email.
