Dr. Thom Dinh, OD

I saw Dr. Dinh for a contact fitting. The reason I gave one star is because they claimed I had a medical condition. The technician who tested my eye pressure was unable to get a reading through the eye puff test and used another instrument. He said that my pressure was high. When Dr. Dinh came in, she asked if Glaucoma runs in my family and if I was seeing floaters or flashes of light. I said no to both. My bill was $90 with my vision insurance. They ended up charging me $55 extra which is my medical copay. I left this visit thinking that something wasn't right, so I went back to the eye doctor that a normally see (who does not take my new insurance, which is why I went to Dr. Dinh). This eye doctor told me that my pressure was fine. When I called Dr. Dinh's office back to let them know that they should not have charged for a medical condition that I do not have, they just kept explaining my bill and would not respond to the fact that they charged me for something they should not have.

I almost didn’t bring my 6 yr. old daughter after reading these reviews but she had already worked up the courage to go to her first eye appointment so we went anyway and I’m glad we did. The whole staff was great. Everyone including Dr. Dinh were patient with my daughter and explained everything to her since she was nervous about being there. I also never felt they were trying to rip me off.

This woman is clueless. She failed to diagnose me with a swowrated macula and just wrote a script that was useless to make money. Stay away from this place!!

Dr. Dinh and her staff were very informative and thorough. I will recommend her and her staff to all my friends and family.

BE CAREFUL if you choose Dr. Dinh. I chose her because she was a provider under my vision insurance policy. Well, she billed my primary medical insurance saying i had, "dry eyes" in order to make more money. BS.... THIS PRACTICE IS FRAUD.

she was very professional and very informative . Explained what the eye infection was and made sure we understood the importance of medication . I took my son but will be switching to her too .

Would never recommend her to anyone. During the exam, my daughter told her everything was blurry. Dr Dinh told her that her eyes needed to adjust. The contacts and glasses were not the correct prescription. We had to go elsewhere. I refused to pay $25 for another evaluation when the first one was done incorrectly.

Will not recommend this Dr to anyone. My prescription was given to Eyewear Express to make (2) pair of glasses and I could not see clearly. It was worse than before. I went to Eyewear Express and the glasses were checked and they were made according to the prescription given by Dr Dinh. I tried wearing to get use to them and it only gave me headaches and the vision was not better. Dr dinh's office wanted to charge me $25 again to recheck the eyes. I will never give more money for the mistake.

They overcharge me. She didnt use my vision insurance, she use my medical so she can make more money for her self. She didnt have my best interest. No one informed me that they wadnt going to use my medical. She doesn't talk to her patients. The office manager didnt care to come and talk to me personally and ehen i asked for a number to complain she gave me a disconnected number. I would never go back there and dont recommend no one else to experience what i have.

Never again.....Very misleading front office practice.....be aware of what they tell you about billing. Have it in writing or record your conversation.
