Made me feel worse about myself than I did before I walked in. Have two friends that seen her also and said the same thing.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Ms. Norcott was never interested in listening to my background and the reasons why I was there. She appeared bored by my (sensitive) troubles and interrupted me several times to ask irrelevant questions. The lack of compassion and (even falsified) interest left me with a terrible taste in my mouth. She made me feel like I was wasting her time as I was painfully speaking about my recent trauma. She questioned my hobby of shooting to the point of my annoyance. When I asked her about coping skills to help me focus on my schoolwork despite everything going on at home, she told me to make myself sit there and to "keep my mind on a leash." Her grand advice for the whole session? For me to see someone who could change my medications.... I am a psychiatric RN. I have dealt with MANY therapists over the years. I can tell you that this woman was by far one of the least pleasant and least helpful I have ever come across. She really made me feel like I was bothering her!

Refused to evaluate me for ADHD because I'm 25. Honestly I feel like I wasted a ton of time hoping that she would eventually diagnose me. I finally went elsewhere and was immediately diagnosed on the first appointment. It's so frustrating to have been there for help with an issue, and the issue just continually being ignored.
