She was unwilling to submit to my insurance claiming they likely wouldn't cover an evaluation. She was more than happy to charge me $3,500 out of pocket for one though. She didn't listen to me or respect me. Self-diagnosis or lived-experiences mean nothing to her. She also tried rescheduling me twice after already having had waited several months for the initial appointment. Seriously, don't waste your time with this "doctor".

Stay Away From Dr. Covington!!!!!!
Judgmental and great at making you feel like you can trust her at first and then once you give her your trust she takes advantage of it. Disgusting!! Unbelievable of a human being. All about the money and not the patients. Boy does she love Zoom!!!! Do you ever see her in person?!

I just started sessions with Doctor Covington through Telehealth. Our exchange in conversation was great no pressure. Openness was there , I felt no hidden judgement, felt freely to speak my mind . Genuineness, to encourage me to create strategies to empower and improve my overall mental and physical health is a goal that I welcome to explore and master with her to take on my very demanding and challenging life.

If you don’t know the answers to your psychological test then don’t give it and maybe even quit.

People have said that she is just trying to help me but that couldn’t be further from the truth. I thought she would help me but she called my job and told them not to bring me back yet because I still had too many mental problems. I went two years unemployed because she took this initiative so I would highly recommend not to go see her.

I went to go see Covington once. I took her test. She said I did good but when it came down to everything she failed me. That’s not a good doctor.

Dr. Covington is a phenomenal psychologist. She helped me to do wonderful work. I am an incest survivor ( older cousin ). Dr. Covington really helped me to heal. The strength I gained working with her made it possible to get through the death of my dog while my father was suffering from metastatic bladder cancer end stage. Dad died a month after John Paul, and my brother's cancer came back a few months after dad's death. Greg died in 2012. I have missed Dr. Covington tremendously.
