Inattentive and Dismissive
My 73 y/o mom went to have a cataract in her left eye observed to see if it had worsened enough for surgery. She also had a complaint of abrasion and itchiness in the eye. Dr. Brigham took her back and told her she would be checked for contacts...when my mom explained that wasn't the reason for the visit, the doctor seemed confused. When my mom asked her about an existing prescription she'd been using (from another doctor in the practice) Dr. Brigham answered none of her questions and proceeded to give her a new much more costly drop. No explanation of why the change or what was the difference. There was complete disregard for the questions asked, she was unaware of the reason for the patient visit, and had zero patience for conversing with the patient about concerns. We understand she is a young doctor (so 2 stars) but she really needs to work on her bedside manner. We will not be seeing her again and I do not recommend her for older patients.
