Dr. Mickler helped me through my undergraduate/graduate years. I found her one of the most genuine, honest, kindhearted, smartest people I could have the pleasure to know. I dealt with a lot during those years from as simple to school stresses, to issues as complex as eating disorders, abusive parents, and death. With her, I was able to not feel alone, but more than that: understood and empowered. Anyone who is lucky enough to work with her is better person for it, and I'm lucky UF referred me.
