Tammy Jernigan, ARNP

Ms Jernigan did not pay attention to my concerns. I've struggled all weekend with what I believe is a reoccurrence of my diverticulitis which I advised her of at my appointment and she totally ignored it. Also she didn't go into detail about a prior heart attack which she said I've experienced from my ekg. She provided me a work release statement which didnot explain my current symptoms which may reoccur over the next few days weeks. I'm struggling with my balance and weakness which she didn't document.

She is an excellent Internal Medicine ARNP. Better than many doctors I have used in the past.

Tammy always shows concern for any issue I bring to her. She is patient and explains and answers all questions I have. I have been seeing Tammy for a number of years and trust her to guide me to do what’s best for me. Love her!!

My underline condition, Dr. Jernigan makes sure I have all of my blood work that relates to my medical problems, I always feel free to ask about any medication, if I've had any new problems since I had my last visit if a new problems occurs I know that I can call the office and she or a staff member gets back to me no later than the next day which to me is very comforting, if I need to see a specialist there's never a problem, I've been very satisfied with her as my doctor.

Takes time to build a relationship and helps you to understand what the next steps will be.

My feet and legs were very swollen and I had a rash over my body.

I’ve had several appointments with her as a new provider and my last was the deciding factor to find a new provider. My last appointment she informed me “my job isn’t to talk price, I just prescribe medicine for people” when I asked if there was something more cost effective I could take to help lose weight and keep my lipid panel looking good. I’m pretty sure part of an NP role, among many, is to not prescribe the most expensive drugs and consider the patients ability to continue paying for medicine to stay healthy and compliant. I’ll reach out to maybe another medical group not Ascension if this is the caliber of their NPs they hire.

Tammy is a very competent provider. She takes time to listen and review your test results with you.

She stays on top of all health issues, current blood work, etc. Listens to all your concerns and gives you the time you need at every appointment.

Tammy Jernigan is the best. She has saved my life several times. If she left her position I would find her and go where she was. She helped me when the Dr didn’t. She cares about her patients, and takes time to listen to what you have to say.

Tammy is our "Go To" medical person. She always listens to our concerns, and takes the time to make sure we understand all of the issues. This is especially important with regard to our medicines where the pro and cons such as side affects can be critical. If you want a physician who will really "take care of you" she should be your one of your top medical professionals. Also, it should be noted that she is very on top of all of our medical issues and is quick to recommend another specialist for specific issues

I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Went right on back and had vitals taken immediately. Tammy Jernigan took the time to go over my lab results thoroughly. I was not rushed. All in all, very pleased with my care.
