Dr. Tammra Johnson, OD

After 2 1/2 months, she has my $2000, and I have no glasses that work out of the four pairs I bought. She's very likable and seems to know what she's doing in the exams. I had two exams within 6 weeks because I couldn't see out of any of the four pairs of glasses that took a whole month to arrive. Her lab is VERY slow and maybe inept. I can't figure out who's to blame for the poor service.

She should have retired ten years ago. She doesn't really care or know what she's doing. She can't remember details, lost my glasses and denies having them, and her office looks like a hoarders house. I should file a complaint with the state license board, which wouldn't be the first complaint. She wouldn't ever give me my prescription or return my calls, but was quick to take my money. After 20 years, I'm done. It was long overdue but I found a new provider who actually cares and knows what he's doing.

I have been going to Dr. Johnson for 30 years for check ups and glasses and have been very pleased until this recent time. After a thorough eye exam and a new glasses prescription, I couldn't see well -- blurry -- in one eye. After another eye exam, prescription check, nothing improved. I asked to have the prescription remade, she agreed, and nothing happened. It's now been 3 months and I stlll can't see in one eye. I've called twice and left detailed messages. No one has called me back.
