Talon Greeff, LMHC

Talon was just not very good at establishing rapport with us and parents or our kids. He thought he was knowledgeable without taking the time to get to know us or our child. A bit aggressive and overly confident in his own abilities.

My wife and I found that Talon is very helpful and is able to find ways to address difficult family issues. While his approach can be very direct which may lead to hurt feelings, it is worth it. The expertise and helpfulness made it worth it.

Talon knows what he's taking about with children's behavior. He's honest and up front about his recommendations, and does a lot to keep up on the research. He definitely has a story to go with every recommendation, and may get off topic now and then, but if you work with him he will help you and your kids reach your goals.

He has a great relationship working with my boys. They enjoy working with him.

Talon’s been doing this for a lot of time. He was able to answer my wife’s questions and my questions. He clearly knows what he’s doing and how to help kids as well as families.

I am not a patient who has been evaluated by Talon Greef. I am an attorney who has used him in guardiand high tension child custody hearings including severance matters. He is the go to guy at the courthouse for many of the judges. I have used him 6 times and plan to use him in the future because he is dependable, professional, produces high quality resultsimately and can be trusted to go in to the most difficult situations in family court. It is inevitable that he will have a few negative reviews because 4 of the cases I used him on and probably many of his others involve matters where he has to rule or recommend hard against someone. I'm sorry, but the nature of the work we do occasionally requires that someone be the grown up and point out that someone else is failing. From a parenting or psychological standpoint I have found Talon can be that guy even when I don't want to hear it because it's my client. I No he deals with normal cases but I save him for the tough ones.

Mr. Greeff is a professional and analytical counselor. He listens intently to the issues before he forms a professional opinion.

Good at simplifying what seems like complex situations. Great with my kids!

Talon was involved with our family in a very difficult court situation. He was the second person involved, the first quit or self destructed. I wasn't happy at the time with where he went with his recommendations, neither was my ex. However, with the benefit of hindsight and time I see that he was actually very perceptive and came to conclusions that in the long-term have benefited my whole family especially my children. He was quite personable but was a strong enough personality to steer the process without some of my shenanigans and definitely without my wife's drama. I don't think a weaker person would have been able to salvage the situation. More importantly, he was good enough at what he was doing and perceptive enough in his field to be able to really see underlying issues and discern potential solutions and problems that we hadn't even thought about. I hope I never have to live through situations like I did before but if I did I would highly recommend him.

Talon has worked with our family for the past 8 years. He is the reason our marriage is strong and our challenging son is successfully living in home. He has assisted us navigating numerous school placements while attending complicated IEP and school district meetings. He has guided us in understanding the law and successfully battling the complicated legal system with confidence and professionalism. He has helped our son make and keep friends while finding self worth. He has even worked with our son’s med providers, disability support coordinators and ABA therapists. Talon is the advocate you need fighting by your side when other professionals are scared of the challenge.

Talon appears to be genuine and nice. However a deeper look at his tactics and you realize he has a very big ego. He’s convinced that his perspective is right and will threaten you if you disagree. He will use methods that are unconventional and un-ethical to bend you to his will. Warning ?? DO NOT USE THIS EGO MANIC!

This man knows his business. Sometimes you don't like to hear the truth or the solutions , if any, that are possible. We trust his expertise and have found as time has passed how right on he was with our situation.

Would not recommend Talon Greeff to anyone involved in a high conflict custody situation. His failure to properly assess diagnose and treat family pathology of parental alienation made our family situation worse. He was unwilling to listen and understand the underlying problems.

Talon has helped our family tremendously!! Could not do life without him!!
