I was suffering from a condition called, vocal cord displacement (VCD). It felt like I was suffocating for two weeks. I was in the E.R three times within that two week time period. I also went to my PCP and an Allergy and Asthma specialist. Nobody could help me. In my 38 years of being alive, this experience was the worse situation I'd ever been confronted with. I literally felt like I was going to die. Talia Manahan, M.S. was the only one that was able to help me within a one hour session.
