Dr. Suzanne Burger, PSY.D

I would highly recommend Suzanne Berger for couples counseling. My husband and I had gone to multiple couples counselors without getting any real help. We were fighting all the time and not doing well. We went to Suzanne for 6 months and now we fight soooo much less and are in a good place with our relationship. It was really challenging work with her, and we often would get very upset during sessions. But that was because to make a marriage work, you have to confront things about yourself that don't feel good. It was life changing therapy. I highly recommend her. She's pricey, but worth every penny.

My experience w Ms Burger was actually really poor. I found her quite inattentive and more concerned looking at the clock vs helping our situation w my now ex-wife. It all turned out for the best and hindsight is 20/20 that i was in the wrong marriage--but Ms Burger would have done absolutely nothing to help with us coming to terms with this. She didn't seem invested, committed or concerned on outcomes. And the thing that really got my goat was after all the back and forth with me paying her fees to get ultimately get divorces from my wife she decided to send me an email review form (which after 6 years I am finally getting to) to go on this site and tell everyone what a great experience we had w her. My suggestion is if you are looking for someone to help your marriage, look elsewhere.

After working with Dr. Burger for over a year I confidently left with a toolbox and understanding of how to best manage the variety of feelings the loss of my brother kicked up in me. The experience and knowledge Dr. Burger brought to our sessions, each time, left me knowing I could trust and experience who I was in a compassionate and understanding manner.

We spent a year with Dr. Burger. As a couple we were going through a difficult time in our marriage. She helped us explore the causes and "untangle the web". We highly recommend Dr. Burger and thank her for her professionalism and skill.
