Dr. Susan Streeter, PHD

Please stay away from Dr. Streeter at all costs if going through a custody evaluation. Dr. Streeter's report (if you could call it that) was in my favor so this review is not a bitter or spiteful review but purely honest and I am very scared for families in the Central Valley that use Dr. Streeter for a custody evaluator. Dr. Streeter is not coherent enough to take on this extremely important role. She withheld the report from us for over 9 months and the report ended up being not even 6 pages and did not report on any clinical evaluation of either parent or the children. The report included several grammatical errors and was barely legible. The report she put together was embarrassing to put in front of a family law judge. Dr. Streeter went months at a time during this process and would not contact me or the other party or respond to any correspondence from attorneys collaboratively. Dr. Streeter needs to be held accountable for the disservice she's doing to our children.

Dr. Streeter conducted our custody evaluation. She was on top of scheduling and making sure my concerns were heard. She interviewed myself and my children and everything went well. Her decisions were honest and we based upon the interviews. She was kind and attentive throughout the process. I would recommend her if you are in need of a psychologist for a custody evaluation.

Dr. Streeter conducted our court evaluation. Do not choose her for an evaluation. What is defined by a 90 day process by the courts took her over 7 months to complete. She also asked for additional money to complete her report. She doesn't follow the defined evaluation process and won't answer questions about where she is at in the process. Her office is cold and not inviting. She sits behind her computer monitor slowly typing your responses to her questions. It's very distracting because she also interrupts your responses so she can type. She completely missed that my children where cuddling with me because she was behind her monitor typing. She also didn't document correctly. She documented the wrong child who made statements or did something. She didn't listen to their statements and twisted their words. What's worse is she believed all the lies my ex told and never verified anything she said with a third party. I had been seeing a mental health professional regularly for five year

horrible experience. court ordered custody eval. She was blatantly on the side of my ex. He had a history of domestic violence and anger mgt. problems, etc. I have zero alcohol/drugs/anger EVER. I think because my child was very articulate-she said she was coached and a liar...to her face!! She was very traumatized as she is very honest/religious. He later had another restraining order, got fired for excessive force and lost all custody/visitation permanently, had court ord. supervised viz.

if you are a father or the Attorney representing a father in family court, steer a wide path around her. Extremely biased. Just see what is posted online. Former colleagues were 100% unanimous concerning this and spoke of this before being asked. Personal preferences have no place in such a matter.

I immediately felt at ease with Dr. Streeter and was able to trust her. She was attentive and professional at all times. I felt that she really heard me. It is clear that she continues to stay current on the latest developments in her profession. I can not recommend her highly enough.

Dr. Streeter was professional at all times. In conjoint sessions she was an expert at redirect. Her attention to detail is phenomenal. I was quite pleased with the service.It was a great experience that put me in the right direction.
