Didnt take the time...
Saw in Legacy Urgent Care. My chief complaint was unbearable sinus pressure, ear pain, throbbing headache, laryngitis ( my voice almost gone), swollen nasals & throat. Doesnt examine me, 1 min of entering exam room says sounds like you have a very bad cold go home, drink more water. She never asked how much I was drinking to know if this was an issue. Says if you were asthmatic I would prescribe steroids but you're not so go home, get yourself a humidifier. Again never asked if I had been using a humidifier which for 4 days I had been. I have been asthmatic entire life w Fibro . I explain my concern is not my lungs it is my sinus pain & now it is making me dizzy, pain is bad. I requested an exam. She failed to palpitate any sinus. She listens to chest, says lungs sound fine you dont need steroids. Again I say that is not my problem, it is my sinuses. I ask is there new protocol that requires me to have a lung problem w sinusitis to get steroids? I need to reduce inflamm. She is rude.
