My son was born 10/4/16 at Scripps Encinitas. I had labored for over 30 hours it was the weekend and the doctor was an on-call doctor. I had pushed for over 5 hours.The on-call doctor was called numerous times and never showed up so the nurses found Susan and she delivered my baby. The umbilical cord was around the neck 3 times and the cord broke while the baby was in my belly. Susan delivered my baby and saved his life. I am truly greatful for Susan! She will always be in my heart. Thank you!!
