I started seeing Susan when I was in middle school due to behavioral issues, depression, ADHD, and family conflicts—particularly with my mom. One of the biggest issues I faced was wanting to move in with my dad, but Susan consistently discouraged this. My mom even admitted she liked Susan because she 'hated' my dad, which, at 11 to 15 years old, deeply affected my perception of him.The last time I saw Susan was via telehealth during COVID. During that session, I opened up about experiencing suicidal thoughts. After that, she completely cut off contact—not just with me, but also with my mom and dad. I was left without any follow-up, support, or even an explanation. She ghosted me at a time when I needed help the most. Completely unprofessional and disgusting to do this to a CHILD. I am almost 20 and looking back I should've filed a formal complaint. If you’re looking for a therapist who truly listens and provides support, I strongly recommend finding someone else.
