Not a particularly caring environment
My final visit with Susan Corey was definitely the worst of all my visits. I saw Susan for well over a year. Initially she seemed genuine, however, as her private business began to grow I felt more and more like a number and no longer an individual. I had continued to see Susan as I thought I would get better in time and blamed myself for feeling that she was disinterested. Eye contact was not a thing for her and in retrospect, I know it was not me. I am now on the correct medication. My last time in this office I expressed that my feelings of self harm were getting worse and she told me “you know what to do when this happens”. Well no, I did not. I made my next appointment and left knowing I had to find another provider. Nail in the coffin here, I did not show for my last appointment, not a single person reached out to say hey, are you ok? Pretty weak for a mental health provider. Her phone person is rude. I am a medical professional and would NOT recommend this provider.

Unprofessional! Waiting 2 months for an appointment, Had to wait 40 minutes in office, finally asked when we would be seen and they could not give a time. Why do you make and appointment and not follow thru? Truly unprofessional.

This office and doctor really care
I came here to offer kudos to this office, and I am glad I did, as I see many who have tried to berate this poor staff who work so hard. Dr. Corey has been treating me for several years, and she has been nothing short of wonderful. You can also tell her staff works really hard to help the patients in this area. The clinical staff have always helped me with scheduling my crazy schedule to find an appt. with Dr. Corey. The front desk staff are also always pleasant and kind. I will always recommend this office and Dr. Corey.

What began as a nice experience has ended in extreme disappointment. The staff needs to take a class in customer service. My wife has been calling to make an appointment for our son (who takes daily medication) since December of last year. She left several messages without receiving a call back. Dave rudely told my wife that she couldn’t make an appointment until our balance was paid. My wife was fine with paying the balance but Dave continued to be argumentative and impatient with her. She finally hung up the phone because she was tired of being berated. Do not work with these people. They are unprofessional, combative, and greedy.

Don’t waste your time
From the under-qualified and so called Doctor/ business women, whatever, to the under-qualified counselors/therapists and let’s not forget the obnoxious and arrogant, front office help; this is a very - questionable - “ medical practice “ . Don’t believe me’’’’ find out for yourself.

Substandard clinical care. Refused to speak to my previous treating physician of 10 years for any clinical history or due diligence. Double-booked me then had a student do my intake. After her real appointment was over, she came into the room and talked to the student about me in third person. As I was sitting there but not speaking to me. Like I was just an actor in an intake exercise. I was left stigmatized, unheard and diminished as I watched my medical condition being used as a pop quiz, without any due diligence on my actual condition, as offered by my previous treating physician of 10 years. We are not headlines. We have histories. We deserve clinical rigor.

I recommend Dr. Corey’s practice to individuals and families living with mental health challenges. During my initial visit, Dr. Corey did not jump to a diagnosis nor prescribe lots of meds. She listened and most importantly made it comfortable to engage in conversation. The staff were friendly, professional and held the practice of confidentiality to a high standard.

Dr. Corey knows what she's doing, she's very empathetic & helpful. I have very specific needs when it comes to my mental health because of previous conditions, so even before the attacks, that created a sense to the rest of the world of what some people have lived their whole lives & needed to make it aware that I was one of those people & while believing "welcome to my life"...she just 'got it.'
