She was the on call midwife when I was admitted in labor with my Son. She bullied me into unnecessary pitocin and steamrolled every concern I had. She made it clear that SHE was the expert and knew what was best and threatened to discharge me AMA (again and my wishes) if I didn’t agree to the pitocin. She was the opposite of what a midwife should be. She derailed my entire birth and sent it down an unnecessarily traumatic path.
