Dr. Sue Middleton, LCSW

Sue is the most incompetent therapist I have seen. She failed to properly diagnose me with several conditions and failed to follow through with proper assessments. She would spend most of the time talking about herself and claimed I had something new each visit, which were later confirmed to be incorrect. I wouldn’t trust her opinion on anything.

She totally failed to see what the issues were with me. Every visit was unproductive, she would just name random diagnoses she thought I may have had without giving it much more thought. WORST PART: She missed my autism diagnosis. This woman also treated my AUTISTIC sister, and she knew that she had autism (not diagnosed by her) and I told her every sign and symptom, yet she would throw in terms like “seizures” or “kleptomania”. I was diagnosed 2 years later with autism. She just had no idea what she was doing or talking about, and once I went to other therapists I knew she was no good. Waste of money and time to have someone try to misdiagnose me only to figure out it was one simple thing. She made me feel like I was crazy, even though other therapists tell me that I indeed do not have seizures or kleptomania.

Sue was excellent! Although she was not the right long-term fit for my specific needs, I valued my time with her and I appreciated that she helped me find someone who would be a better fit for my specific needs.
