Does not prioritize his commitment to his patients
Dr. Walsh recommended a myopia management for my child, which was a significant financial commitment I believed was in his best interest. However, midway through the 2nd year of treatment, I received a letter from Dr. Walsh stating that our services were being discontinued, citing, “When trust is lost, it is time to part ways.” During a scheduled follow-up, I was asked to pay for an annual exam with scans, I questioned, believing it was for myopia mgt. Dr. Walsh stated the appt was an annual exam and there was no need for ongoing follow-up unless specific issues arose. This was surprising, as he had monitored my son's treatment closely in the 1st year. After investing thousands over the years, receiving a termination letter for my son’s care mid-treatment raises serious concerns about professionalism and commitment to patients.The initial promise of treatment has been overshadowed by a lack of transparency. I felt it necessary to share this experience to inform others about my concerns
