I went in and 5 minutes later a nurse came and got me. I went thru the first part with her. after she dilated my eyes, Dr McKay came in and give me a good going over. He never misses anything and answers my questions for me.

I've been going to him for years! Dr. McKay is excellent; thorough, kind, very clean conscious, particular, goes about his work professionally. Communicates well and answers all kinds of questions in a respectful way. Reminds me of a "picky" person; very detailed oriented and that's exactly what I look for in a professional doctor.

It was my final exam post op cataract surgery. He really didn’t listen to me that I wouldn’t wear glasses and was a waste of time getting them. So will have to wait until my annual exam in September to get contact prescription.

My appointment lasted longer than usual as Dr. McKay was very thorough in examining my eyes every possible way, including taking me to another area and having an additional test done. I left with instructions of what to do, and I thanked him for the time he had given me. I've gone to him for many years and am sorry he is going to retire. I will transfer to another doctor at Discover that my husband goes to and has had very good care.
