Went to Pablo Urgent Care with severe pain in my shoulder and neck. I explained to Nurse Practitioner about the pain. He ordered an X-Ray and I received a cortisone shot. I was at the E.R and the doctor gave me medicine at the hospital. I explained to the NP that that medication was not stopping the pain" He replied----If you are here for narcotics, I'm not giving you any! Call your Primary Doctor".....wow I was not even asking for pain meds, I just wanted something that was going to work!! It comes out that I have Degenerate Disk Disease....I was not faking on the pain. I hope that I never come across this inconsiderate NP again. Not all patients are looks for drugs, and I am very offended that he would even appoach a patient like that.
