Dr. Stephen Quinn, PSY.D

Dr. Quinn has been an incredible support system for my child and has supported them through their social and emotional journey, which include managing stress and anxiety in what I feel is a very stressful environment to live. He creates a welcoming environment where kids (and or parents) do not feel judged, and he truly sees the child’s perspective. He creates an environment of ease, even as much as taking them outside to talk (like playing basketball or walking his dog). I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Quinn to anyone seeking compassionate and effective therapy for their child.

Dr Quinn is incredible insightful to “boy” issues, many of which are hard to understand as a mom. He gives kids the tools to manage certain stressful situations, but most of all, he’s a secure place for a child to go each week to share their stories. Dr Quinn saw us during a desperate time of need and we now our child does go a week without his therapy. The consistency has helped and while at first, there was resistance, it’s just part of our world now and a critical tool in our toolbox, to help us get through the stress of living in Northern VA, including isolation/friendship issues, school/academic pressures and how to manage the heaviness that comes with travel sports. Dr Quinn has even opened my child to thinking about the future. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Quinn to anyone seeking compassionate and effective therapy for their child.

He really helped me for the better, and it took me not caring, leaving, and coming back to get to that point.
