I called in advance to schedule a first time visit and asked questions about what to expect. According to my insurance estimator, one chiro visit should be $60. Instead, I was charged upwards of $250 because it was not communicated that there is an additional first time patient fee, and certain services were sold to me during the visit without explaination that there would be additional cost.When I called in advance, I was also told that they use instrumental adjustments, but that was not my experience. The actual adjustment part was very quick and felt rushed.I really appreciated the idea of 'holistic' health and the intake form being very thorough, but this did not seem to be explored during the visit - I'm not sure how that connected to the adjustment. It felt like a scheme to get people on a long term recurring program. Ambiance was beautiful and staff were friendly, but this did not translate to the overall experience.
