Stephanie Hall, APNP

Stephanie Hall is very nice and personable. I never felt rushed at our visit. She has great bed side manner she's talked to me about when I had pnemonia told me more info about it. We've had small talk, she was NOT robotic whatsoever. I never leave reviews on these things either but I know I had to when I seen so many low ratings, I am a current patient of a Stephanie's and she's been wonderful. Also for people who think she's a psychiatrist, she's not she's a prescriber, I guess overall she doesn't have to engage in small talk, the talking is for your counselor. Everytime I met with her I just treated her the way I wanted to be treated and she reciprocated. Thank you Stephanie for being great APNP!!!

Told me on first evaluation that she's just here to manage meds. Basically, shut up, I don't want to hear about your decade+ mental health issues. 30 min. Apt. she charts and it's 5-10 minutes. Chart's all things we discussed, didn't discuss any of these issues. Keeps refilling meds that she took me off!!! I asked to be referred to another psychiatric and I got her, she's not a psychiatrist! Saw my previous psychiatrist every 28 days for 10 years, her I see every 3 month's, if not longer. All the same, uncaring, pretending to listen, and always med changes. I honestly think they get tired and bored with their 'so called patients' and their profession's. Sad.

Terrible! I cannot think of a better word, well I can, but I know I will receive "backlash" for even leaving a review for her. She and her staff have had me on the line of mental health for 21 years. Now, not all have been as horrible as Stephanie Hall, but I am no better off today as the first day I sought care. Care is not in the vocabulary of this establishment who claim to help. Maybe they do help some, but they like to shove pills on you (I've tried over 30 combos as of August 2018) and tried additional at this individuals discretion, to date. My first visit she had to explain to me that she used to rub diabetic patients feet. I guess everyone needs to start somewhere, but how did that relate to my help or guidance from her during my scheduled appointment? My last visit was in March 2020, she told my husband that he didn't need to come to anymore of my appointments. Who is she to decide who comes with me or not? Horrible at giving advice! Go to someone qualified if you can!

I too have never gone online to write a review about a provider but I am compelled to do so in this case. My husband has never had a worse experience with a mental health provider than with Stephanie. He has had to see her for over a year now and it has been absolutely horrible. He tried to switch to another provider through Theda Care but they won't let him as they have a policy in place that prevents this (which is a whole other issue). I am hoping that if enough patients share their experiences, they will allow patients to seek providers they are comfortable working with as this is a critical component to improving one's mental health. He already has a difficult time describing his emotions and is so uncomfortable with her that I am afraid he will never truly get the correct pharmaceutical combination he needs. He has been emotionally numb for the past year. However, instead of reaching out to his provider for help with this, he does whatever he can not to have to see her because

If you want a psychiatrist who will never let the truth cloud their judgment of you, give Stephanie Hall a shot! Like being called hypersensitive, dishonest, and a drug seeker? She's got you covered! Want to find the best meds for you? She's not like those other psychiatrists who will work with you. She'll give you a fat scoop of "exposure" instead! If you love being invalidated by a walking God complex, you can't beat Stephanie Hall! She knows you better than you do! Don't worry. She'll tell you it's all in your head and you just need to deal with it. You'll be fine!

Very unprofessional she waisted my time cut my visit and didn’t listen to anything I had to say.

Very negative to my fiance. Told him to stop meds that proved to be dangerous. Does not care about patients well being. Only there for the paycheck I believe. Hoping to find better care somewhere. Would not recommend her to anyone!!

Stephanie is a very honest and straightforward person. She keeps it real and that's something I find very important when it comes to dealing with doctors/medical staff these days. I never feel rushed at my appointments and she's excellent at taking notes and answering any/all of my questions. I would highly recommend Stephanie.

I have never written a negative review for anyone before but felt compelled so others can make informed decisions. Stephanie made quick judgements and "recommendations" without asking appropriate questions about it. She wanted to take away a med that past psychiatrists specializing in my illness have prescribed. She was unwilling to talk about *current behaviors/symptoms*, duration, etc, yet felt qualified to recommend discontinuing it. Impersonable and rude. Ask for another provider

Was on a wait list for 6 months to see Stephanie Hall. Drove 45 minutes to finally see her. Was supposed to be a hour appt, lasted maybe 30 minutes. Doesn’t make eye contact. Not personable. No compassion. If you cry, she just points to the Kleenex. Robotic. Would not recommend, especially for mental health.

She doesn't listen to the patient. Even if you are the last patient of the day she does & will NOT make extra time for you. She doesn't get to know her patients at all and doesn't seem like she cares to know them. She uses her DSM for everything which gives you zero to very little confidence in her. She doesn't handle confrontation well and says repeatedly that she only handles medications. She is not personable and only cares about leaving work on time. If you're late even by 5 min, forget it.

Do not recommended. She's very rude and indecisive on plan of care. Does not listen to the patient and is very wishy washy with treatment options going back and forth. Do not recommend her at all. She does not do well with mental health.
