Dr. Stacy Cantley, OD

Dr. Cantley is so professional and caring. She always takes time to listen to all of my concerns and addresses them. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I have been seeing Dr. Cantley for over 10 years and always look forward to my appointments!

I love Dr. Cantley and her staff. She is always so caring and helpful with all of my eye care needs from routine visits for contacts and glasses to emergency visits. My whole family goes to her and loves her!

My husband and I have used Family Eye Care since we moved to Sylacauga five years ago and always had good service until my last trip. I have never been treated so rudely by a person/business as I was today. I went in yesterday to pick up my glasses but had to wait so long that I got into a hurry running late for another appointment and I didn't fully inspect the glasses, my mistake. I put them in the case and went on with my day, last night when I took them out to clean them there was two bad gouges on the lens. When I took them back today I was practically called a liar, treated rudely and abusive by the man in the eye glass department. Had I gouged my lens then I would have owned it. I am sure the entire office heard the exchange because he got so loud with me. He definitely cost Dr. Cantley two long term patients as I will immediately be looking for a new doctor for us. Nobody should be treated as I was today in that office.

Dr. Cantley is very helpful and staff is very friendly. I have been going there for years and always love my new glasses.

This doctor is of poor quality and does not care if you are allergic to something. 1st visit, I told them I was allergic to the drops, not as in I get a rash, but it stops me from breathing. They insisted that they gave me a new drop that was out and there was no chance of having a reaction. Guess what I did. I had to have a recheck and I asked them if they could still do the recheck without doing the drops and they assured me they could. They wanted to give me something that could kill me.

I went to her to get my prescription because she does not carry the brand of contacts I wear. She had been my eye doctor for several years, but on this day would not release my prescription to me until I paid a bill that I didn't even know I had. I had never received a bill in the mail, still haven't , to this day although they said it had been mailed that day. I had also called before that visit and they told me I wouldn't owe anything,that it was covered by my insurance.
