Following serious injuries from an auto accident, I was anxious, emotional and fearful of driving. I am a former therapist and chose her based on other therapists’ recommendations.Sony listened well, was empathetic and explained PTSD and EMDR therapy. She answered all of my questions. Her skills with EMDR led to rapid improvement.Now, after about ten sessions, I have recovered my enthusiasm for life. I am returning to activities I had given up and planning new adventures. Sony’s skill with EMDR therapy gave me my life back. I highly recommend her.

Felt personally attacked and judged upon asking very typical questions before starting counsoling. When I expressed fear in talking was accused me of not wanting to work on my issues knowing nothing of me, my issues or the fact I was new in town and spent years working on all my issues. Further was confused by the term C-PTSD. Not sure if its a diagnostic recognized condition or not but given previous consolors diagnosed me with it so you'd think a ptsd expert would know the term.

She was very confrontational with me. I didn't feel that she was very sensitive to my needs or empathic about my issues.

She does not let you work at your own pace, she yells at you, puts you down and treats you badly overall.

I saw Sondra in Knoxville, TN, which is where she is now. She is wonderful. I saw her for about six months and was able to return to work, which I had to go on disability for because of my depression. I could not have done this without her help! I would highly recommend this therapist. I also have a couple friends that are police officers that have seen her for their PTSD and she has helped them tremendously as well!

I'm so thankful for Sony and how she helped me get through a very difficult time. She truly cares about her clients and takes a personal interest in doing what is best for them. There were some things I wasn't sure I would ever get past, but she truly helped me to and I am forever grateful.
