Skyler was easily the best therapist I've ever worked with. I've tried going to therapy many times over the course of my life, but never found anyone that was a good fit. Until Skyler. I always felt heard and seen during our appointments. But I also didn't feel like I was talking with someone that was going to validate my perspective no matter what. I needed someone to help me figure out how to manage and change behaviors that I needed help changing. I wanted to learn how to be a person that wasn't controlled by their past negative or traumatic experiences. She also helped me learn how to control my triggered responses to things, and to work towards having good boundaries, and to understand why that is so important. And to learn to value my own needs. She is a good listener and also good at giving helpful advice and tools. She also never made me feel judged. She is a very safe and welcoming therapist if you are part of the LGBTQ community. In short she is a skilled therapist.
