She seems like a nice and caring person, but I don’t think she has the capacity to fully understand individual patients and cater her approach to their needs. When I saw her a few times, she would often resort to recommending yoga, which I did not find helpful. Further, she quite often interrupted me only to assume she understood what I was saying and to get it completely wrong. I think she would benefit from more experience, patience, and maturing, as well as increased learning of more holistic approaches. It was clear to me that she did not have the capacity to remove herself from the equation and her feedback was tainted with her worldviews. Instead of wanting to understand, she approached the situation as though she had a clear understanding causing her to continuously miss the mark in our sessions. I think she is able to handle more simple cases.
