Dr. Sidney Horowitz, PHD

The most arrogant person in I have ever met. My kids were court ordered to go to him, and they complained every time. Horrowitz loves to talk about himself. The more unimpressed I was, the more he kept telling me how he testified so many times, how he has traveled the country to give his opinion, and how he was on certain boards. I don't know how kids could relate to him. He presents as a complete narcissist. After years and a lot of money spent, the kids refused to go to him anymore, and the courts could not force them. The courts have a way of making a lot of money for these doctors and counselors. This is a big money making scheme. Don't fall for it. Keep your money for your kids, and if needed find a genuine, good therapist.

I went to Dr. Horowitz for years and felt stagnant much of the time. Not sure why I stuck with him so long because I never felt all that comfortable with him either. My conditions are difficult to treat with meds and therapy but after leaving Dr. Horowitz for another therapist who also hooked me up with a psychiatrist for meds I am feeling much better and actually understand my conditions which I was clueless about under his care. Difficult to make an appointment - office doesn't return calls.
