Shirley Berry-Yates, MSN

Shirley is rude and doesn’t listen to her patients. She talked about my trauma like it’s no big deal. She became extremely rude when I told her that I was hesitant to get off of my extremely addictive medication. She offered no help for me to get off of it, and then she made snarky remarks about it. She won’t refill a prescription unless you call the office directly, and if you try to request a refill through the pharmacy the request just goes unanswered. One time I called the office for a refill for my medication (again, it’s extremely addictive) and the office staff somehow forgot to tell Shirley. It was right before the weekend so I had to wait until Monday to call them again, and by then I had already run out. I almost had to go to the hospital due to withdrawal. I left her practice right after that. Do yourself a favor and find another psychiatrist.
